I’m a writer, VR producer and artist loving on my home country from abroad.

I’m the daughter of a librarian and a total book lover — there is always a (messy) stack of books next to my bed.

And I’m doing my part in making the US election cycles less painful.

By taking on my book reading challenge, you can help us increase our understanding of each other by delving into the pages of books set in a state and written by someone from that state.

Each state has stories to tell

I’ve lived in four states and visited around 30. I say “around” because some of these were just drive-through visits. I’m sure some of you have been to all 50 states (and Puerto Rico!) but did you really get to know the people who lived there enough to care about them or understand what makes them tick? The authors who have lived in these places and chosen to set their books there surely have.

Interviews of authors and readers will be looked into as part of the project.
